Thanks to this technology, part of the renewable energy generated can be stored and used at times of peak demand, helping to improve the stability of the electricity system and accelerate the integration of new demand linked to electrification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this infrastructure, Iberdrola consolidates its leading position in battery storage in Spain, where it already operates around 200 MW.
