The lighting has been installed respectfully on the 1907 building, taking into account its specific requirements in order to minimise its impact on the monument. The lighting design also seeks to enhance its architectural, sculptural and ornamental richness while respecting the environment, improving energy efficiency by around 60% compared with the previous lighting system.

Thanks to the new lighting, visitors will be able to appreciate City Hall’s modernist architecture with eclectic influences, including its white marble façades, pilasters, openings, cornices and decorative reliefs. They will also be able to admire its iconic zinc-clad metal domes, which crown the building and are one of the most recognisable features of Cartagena’s cityscape.

The Iberdrola España Foundation is working to make historical and artistic heritage more accessible, sustainable and closer to society, contributing to its preservation and passing it on to future generations.

This collaboration demonstrates that innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand in preserving our heritage, helping to ensure that such unique and important buildings remain landmarks of the city and its surroundings.

[91
["post-5728","evento","type-evento","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria-evento-lighting

<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.0 -
