Fuente Agria unveils its new ornamental lighting, thanks to the collaboration between Fundación Iberdrola España and Puertollano City Council
Fundación Iberdrola España and Puertollano City Council, with the presence of representatives of the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha, have inaugurated the new ornamental lighting at Fuente Agria, one of the most emblematic and visited sites in the city, located in Paseo de San Gregorio park
The project, budgeted at €46,398, has involved the installation of a high-efficiency LED lighting system designed to highlight, enhance and harmonise the architectural elements of the complex, which was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2024.
With this new illumination, made possible thanks to the use of the latest-generation LED technologies, the fountain and its pavilion now enjoy a renewed appearance while also being more sustainable and better integrated with their surroundings.
This new initiative in the Castilla-La Mancha region highlights the importance that Fundación Iberdrola España places on the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, both in this autonomous community and across Spain.
The lighting at Fuente Agria forms part of the extensive and varied programme marking the 125th anniversary of Iberdrola’s foundation, which includes art exhibitions, music festivals, technology showcases and social events.
