From 27 May to 29 June, Doña Casilda Park in Bilbao will once again be transformed into an open-air gallery to host ‘De toda la vida’, a photography exhibition organised by Iberdrola and Cultura Inquieta to mark the electricity company’s 125th anniversary
The exhibition focuses on those places, objects, people and customs that remain with us over time. An invitation to pause and reflect on what continues to serve as an emotional refuge
The exhibition, which brings together a selection of 218 images, features very different perspectives from over a hundred different artists, united by a single idea: the need to return to what reminds us of who we are and where we come from. Landscapes, portraits, domestic scenes, traditional shops, objects steeped in history and small everyday gestures make up this collective exhibition that transforms nostalgia into something tangible and shared.
In the exhibition, it was not only the image that mattered, but also the story behind it: the emotion, the memory or the invisible bond that makes certain places and objects an essential part of our lives.
For 125 years, Iberdrola has accompanied the evolution of homes, cities and entire generations, illuminating spaces and moments that form part of our collective memory. With ‘De toda la vida’, this idea is translated into the emotional and visual realm, building an archive of shared memories where the everyday takes on a new dimension.
The exhibition forms part of the extensive programme of activities that Iberdrola is running throughout 2026 to mark its 125th anniversary, reflecting its commitment to the arts and its dedication to the preservation of heritage and creativity.
