We celebrated the Iberdrola Music Festival in Madrid on 27 June
More than 35,000 people celebrated Iberdrola’s 125th anniversary at a charity festival featuring top artists
The Iberdrola Music Festival brought together more than 35,000 people in Madrid for over seven hours of concerts, in a grand celebration to mark the company’s 125th anniversary.
The Espacio Iberdrola Music, Europe’s largest sustainable venue dedicated to leisure and culture, pulsed to the beat of leading national and international artists. In order of appearance, Lola Bozzano, Álvaro de Luna, Ana Mena, Manuel Carrasco and Lenny Kravitz took part in a day characterised by a strong connection with the audience in a festive and participatory atmosphere.
Cristina Boscá, director and co-presenter of the programme *Anda Ya* on LOS40 Principales, introduced the festival and each performance, whilst David Álvarez, also a presenter and DJ at the station, entertained the audience with his music sets.
Throughout the festival, attendees were also able to enjoy a variety of entertainment options.
The event had a strong charitable focus, as ticket sales helped to support social projects run by five non-profit organisations: the Spanish Cancer Association, Action Against Hunger, the Tu Techo Foundation, Betania and the Integra Foundation.
